Are your products and methods safe for children?

I am very concerned with the safety of my products. I only use FDA compliant and cosmetic grade products. The specific brands I currently carry in my kit are Global Body Art, Diamond FX, Tag, Superstar, Afterglow Cosmetic Glitter, and Revlon Latex-Free Eyelash Glue (for applying gems). In addition to using safe products, I also practice effective sanitation. All of the paints and sponges I use are antimicrobial, and are cleaned by me on a daily basis. Every time I paint, my kit gets sanitized! I wash my hands and brushes in between each person with a sanitizer and isopropyl alcohol.

What does your set-up look like?

Here is a list of things I bring with me: My face painting kit, a small table, and two chairs.

Things you need to provide: A space for me to paint.

How do I remove the paint?

Removal Steps:

1. Apply soap and water (baby wipes and makeup remover wipes do not work well).

2. Wipe away with a dark wash cloth or paper towel.

3. If staining occurs, apply lotion or a skin safe oil and wait about 30 minutes.

4. Repeat process until all paint is removed.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you offer other types of entertainment?

I only offer face painting. I do not do balloon twisting, magic, or come dressed in costume. Even though I don't do other entertainment, I am great with kids. I am constantly around my own children and I am around children in my day job as a substitute teacher. I am fun and friendly!

How did you decide your prices?

Things that I have to consider when setting my price are the cost of supplies and taxes. I use high quality, professional products and they are not cheap to replace. Although I freelance, I do report all of my earnings on my taxes.
